GAIB Season 1 Airdrop Update
On November 19th, the $GAIB token was launched and, with it, the Season 1 airdrop.
Unfortunately, issues with the airdrop calculations led to some users not receiving the amounts GAIB Foundation always intended to make available to them. These issues have now been corrected, involving several third parties to ensure all data is considered. Today the final allocations are available from now on airdrop.gaibfoundation.org.
This blog post provides an update and recap of the GAIB tokens allocated in this airdrop and their eligibility criteria.

Important note
On November 29th at 00:00 UTC, the claiming site was stopped and the tokens in the contract were recalled in order to have a final count of tokens claimed.
If a user has already claimed all of the tokens allocated to them based on their eligibility, they will not have any more tokens to claim in this airdrop update.
On the contrary, if they were not able to claim tokens for which they are eligible, they can claim the missing tokens in this distribution, as well as see tokens that they will receive according to their specific vesting schedule.
Season 1 Airdrop
A total of 11.13% of the total supply of $GAIB is distributed through this airdrop (including the initial distribution and this update). 7.63% are immediately available for Season 1 Airdrop and the remaining 3.5% will be available at a later stage as defined in this post.
GAIB Spice Campaign Airdrop
GAIB Foundation allocated the majority of the Season 1 airdrop to participants of The Spice Harvest and The Final Spice AID Alpha pre-deposit campaigns.
The airdrop is distributed to 34,000+ eligible wallets, weighted according to deposit size, duration, Spice activity and sybil screening (from 120K+ depositors), ensuring genuine and sustained participants receive tokens proportionally to their contribution level.
The Spice campaign airdrop is modified by the following mechanisms:
- Migration bonus multipliers: points multiplier to users that migrated their AID Alpha assets to mainnet AID and sAID for 1.5x and 2.0x respectively.
- YT investors: YT holders receive airdrops according to their points accumulated, regardless of the migration multipliers as migration is not available.
- Vesting: A vesting plan is implemented. Wallets receiving more than 1000 tokens will have 30% claimable and fully unlocked, with the remaining 70% vested for 90 days and unlocked on a monthly basis, starting from today. Wallets with less than 1000 tokens are 100% unlocked.
Note: for users where these mechanisms weren’t correctly implemented in the initial airdrop, they have been corrected in this distribution and their token allocations reflect them.
Fremen Essence NFT holders
Fremen Essence NFT holders are eligible for an airdrop. A total of 2007 wallets receive an GAIB tokens based on ownership of 2,958 NFTs as of the snapshot taken on Wednesday Nov 19th. These tokens are 100% unlocked.
Discord role holders
A selection of role holders in the GAIB Discord are eligible based on their contributions as community members. 827 users are eligible for these rewards, holding a minimum of 3 of the roles below. These tokens are 100% unlocked.
- Tier 1: Fresage, Fremart, Myth, Global Frem, Local Frem, Fretalen
- Tier 2: Oracle, Freviter III, Muadi, Rever, Knight, Engage Node, GAIB Poker Champ, Mentat of Arrakis
- Tier 3: Sage, Feday, Freviter, Freviter II
Galxe Starboard creators
Galxe Starboard's top 200 creators in the leaderboard as of November 10th are eligible for the Creator Airdrop. The rewards decay linearly, giving the highest rank a higher reward and decreasing until the rank #200. These tokens are 100% unlocked.
Despread mindshare campaign
For Despread creators, an allocation of 50,000 tokens was achieved as GAIB reached 6.5% average mindshare until October 31st. 219 users are eligible for these rewards based on the creator and community pools. These tokens are 100% unlocked. For participants in the Season 2 campaign, the rewards will be distributed after the campaign has ended.
Other campaigns and partners
The remainder of the airdrop is allocated to creator and community campaigns on platforms such as Telegram, X, Youtube Binance Wallet/ Alpha, and local communities as well as various partners. They contributed with distribution, community engagement and advisory on the development of the protocol through its early stage and as a result, creators and their communities have been rewarded.
GAIB Post-TGE Airdrop Allocation
The remaining 3.5% of the airdrop will be distributed after to incentivize long-term adoption, ecosystem engagement, and continued staking activity.
- Spice Harvest Season 2: This allocation will reward users who participate in the ecosystem holding AID and sAID assets, continuously investing in the AI and Robotics infra economies onchain with GAIB.
- Social Media Growth: Tokens will be distributed to users based on content creation, educational posts, dashboards, analysis threads, and long-term community leadership.
- User Referral Campaign: GAIB will reward users who bring new participants into the ecosystem. Referral scoring will consider both the inviter and the invitee and also their contributions based on capital, content and time.
Conclusion
GAIB has placed significant effort in making the tokens we always intended to distribute available to GAIB stakeholders according to their contributions in this airdrop update.
