$GAIB Token Launch and AID Alpha Airdrop

As announced on Monday, the GAIB token will launch on Wednesday November 19th at 10AM UTC. This is a major milestone for the GAIB ecosystem, as we launch the backbone of GAIB’s economic security and reward our earliest and most committed community members for their support thus far.This post covers the GAIB airdrop at token launch, describing eligibility and claiming terms.For a deeper review into the scope, utility and tokenomics of the GAIB token, see this previous post.

Season 2

If you haven’t engaged with GAIB until now, you can earn Spice points in our Season 2 by holding our assets AID and sAID. You can acquire AID at aid.gaib.ai/buy and stake it to get sAID and earn yield from AI & Robotics financing deals.More details on our Season 2 can be found here.

AID Alpha Airdrop Allocation

The GAIB airdrop is designed to reward our most loyal community members; some of them the earliest believers from late 2024, others who engaged in the AID Alpha campaign from May 2025. They have contributed with time, passion, capital, content and dedication to help us build the current GAIB community and ecosystem into what it is today.We remind that any core contributors, early supporters & backers are locked at various time periods and will not be eligible for allocations until at least one year as stated in our tokenomics release on November 13th.

Several groups of users and community participants will be eligible for to airdrop at token launch according to the following rules

AID Alpha Spice holders

Wallets holding Spice points participants will be eligible for the majority of the airdrop. Users earned Spice points at a base rate of 1 Spice per USD value per day by depositing various stablecoins and obtaining AID Alpha assets. This base rate was increased by different multipliers through the campaign as well as participation in DeFi opportunities on Pendle, Curve and others.The following criteria applies to eligibility based on Spice points ownership:

  1. Users who migrated their AID Alpha assets to AID between October 31st and November 6th will see their allocations multiplied by 1.25x.

    Users who staked their AID and obtained sAID during this same period will get a 2x multiplier.

    In both cases, the multiplier will be applied pro-rata to the portion of users that were migrated and/or staked.

    Example: if user had 100 AID Alpha and migrated 50 to AID, they’ll get an airdrop bonus of 50% of their airdrop*1.25.
  2. Users who invested significant amounts in YT assets on Pendle will be treated separately and receive rewards in parallel to their contributions, not expecting them to migrate as they clearly couldn’t.

    These wallets have been analyzed on a case by case basis to assess their eligibility for this separate treatment, and they will see it reflected in their eligibility breakdown.
  3. A vesting plan will be implemented for the wallets receiving the largest airdrops. Wallets receiving more than 1000 tokens will have 30% fully unlocked at TGE, with the remaining 70% vested for 90 days.

    They will have the chance to claim the vested portion at any time between token launch and the x day period, unlocking more tokens linearly, leading up to a 100% claiming option at the end of the period..

Fremen Essence NFT holders

Fremen Essence NFT holders will receive an allocation for their participation in the AID Alpha phase.The Fremen Essence NFT was a free mint to a 3k limited collection of NFTs, offered to whitelisted wallets on a FCFS basis. The whitelists were obtained automatically by users who deposited over $1,500 into the AID Alpha phase, or distributed through campaigns with various ecosystem partners.A total of 2003 wallets will receive an airdrop based on this criteria, based on ownership of 2,958 NFTs.The snapshot of wallets has been taken as of Wednesday Nov 19th.These tokens will be fully unlocked at token launch.

Discord role holders

A selection of exclusive role holders in our Discord will be eligible to an airdrop, based on their many contributions as community members through the last months. These community members have contributed with art, participation and support, and we’re excited to make them stakeholders of the GAIB ecosystem.A three tier system has been established with different reward levels for each, based on the efforts required to obtain them. At the same time, a minimum of 3 roles is required to be eligible, to ensure the most committed members get rewarded for their contributions.

A total of 827 users have been eligible for these rewards, holding the following roles:

  1. Tier 1: Fresage, Fremart, Myth, Global Frem, Local Frem, Fretalen
  2. Tier 2: Oracle, Freviter III, Muadi, Rever, Knight, Engage Node, GAIB Poker Champ, Mentat of Arrakis
  3. Tier 3: Sage, Feday, Freviter, Freviter II

These tokens will be fully unlocked at token launch.

Galxe Starboard participants

The majority of the $100k creator reward pool will be dedicated to the top 200 creators in the leaderboard.The rewards will decay linearly, giving the highest rank a higher reward and decreasing until the rank #200.Unfortunately, an issue with Galxe’s X API services has caused that the last 9 days of data are not included in this snapshot, so the rewards are based on a snapshot from November 10th, the last day the data was updated.

Despread mindshare campaign

For our first Despread creators, an allocation of 0.005% of supply was achieved as GAIB reached 6.5% average mindshare. 219 users are eligible for these rewards based on the creator and community pools.For participants in the Season 2 campaign, the rewards will be distributed within a month as previously announced.

Conclusion

The GAIB airdrop will reward the ecosystem members that made the community and launch possible, making them stakeholders in the ecosystem and economic security of the protocol.For those not eligible in this AID Alpha airdrop, we encourage you to participate in Season 2 as we bring the AI and Robotics infra economies onchain, many other opportunities for rewards will be available in the GAIB ecosystem.
